Everybody was Kung Fu fighting - Kung Fu panda Cake 5/25/10

Kung Fu panda was the choice of cake for my little one for his birthday. So Kung Fu panda it is :-)

The cake is chocolate with choco mocha frosting. The rods in the back are pretzel rods and I just dipped them in green chocolate wafers. I just used a toy figure from Burger king and some colored buttercream.

Everyone loved it and was so soft and moist.

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Spongebob Squarepants!

A friend asked me to make this cake for her 2 kids for their birthday. The only problem is I haven't really made a spongebob cake that actually looked good, LOL! This would be the second time making this cake. The first one was not too good, no arms or legs and I just covered it with fondant and painted the color on top.

Hubby helped me with the lower part of spongebob. This took me a while to make but It turned out awesome.

P-p-p-poker cake, P-p-p-poker cake 5/7/10

This cake was a request cake from a friend. She wanted to surprise her husband and I was happy that he liked it :-) I guess he plays poker with his friends and so comes the poker cake.
I've never made one before so this was my very first poker cake.
