Carrington Farms Healthy Foods for the Healthy soul Flax Paks and Organic Coconut oil Review

These great products from Carrington Farms are not only healthy, they are also very delicious.
I received 3 individual packages of Flax Paks and a big tub of their Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, which is almost gone by the way.

I love the tub packaging and easy to open. I love love love the smell. It reminds me of when I was little when I used to visit the place where my mom worked. She worked at a COPRA place. Smells so good in there.

So far I've used the coconut oil on pretty much everything. That's probably why it's almost gone. I've made some Beef with leafy greens and carrots for dinner and the aroma and flavor was great.

I've also used it on other food I cook. It really does make a difference in taste.

With the Flax Paks, I tried it on my cookie mixture. It was a actually pretty good. It didn't mess my recipe and it's healthy for my Family. The kids didn't even notice.

Yummy cookies with milk :-)

ZIPZ Interchangeable Shoe Review & Giveaway - ENDED

I don't really know where to begin on what or how to tell you about these awesome ZIPZ shoes I received. Anyone and everyone that knows me, knows that I have a shoe addiction. I just love shoes, most of all, I love comfy shoes. Recently thought I've stopped collecting high heeled shoes, I've been buying more comfier and flat shoes.

Then I found Zipz online and I figured I would ask them If I could do a review on one of their shoes.
Ow-em-gee! they were so nice to send me a pair. Aackkk! I was super excited, even my girlfriend was jealous. LOL!

Well, let me tell you about Zipz first before I do the actual review.
Zipz is the world's first, true, interchangeable shoe. Born in California and they also designed it all here in the USA.  You can remove and change your "cover" whenever you want and to fit your mood. Zipz also has durable YKK zippers, patented technology, foot arch, support system, extra padded footbed, soft pliable rubber soul with hand - tooled construction to give your feet the comfort and quality they deserve in every day shoes.

ZIPZ
Change your shoes.
Change yourself.
Change your world!

My review pretty much was said already. It's comfy, you can change the cover to any design they have available to match the mood you're in. The colors are vibrant and it's well made. I love their other designs but I picked the Lo-Top pair of Skull Rose. I have been wearing it every time I go somewhere. Specially now that the NY weather is getting colder, so I'm giving my flip flops and sandals a break. Although I might wear this over the summer too. Heck I might even wear it to sleep. That's how comfy it is. lol!

Oh and the reason I picked this design was because I wanted to wear it with my Halloween costume. Everyone loved it, specially the shoe. I went as a Chola, lol. ** Just so everyone knows, I DO NOT SMOKE! That is a fake cigarette.

Back to the shoe. I wore it all night and my foot didn't hurt. I was super comfy throughout the night. I was the designated photographer so I never had the chance to sit. I was running all over the place

I mean what else can I say about this shoe? I love it! I seriously love it.

Here's the cool part. The cool people from Zipz are so generous that they are giving my readers a pair of their own. What? What? Woohooo!!!
The winner of the giveaway will win a pair of your choice from the look book or pick a pair HERE. You also must be resident of the USA.
** You cannot pick a "custom" Zipz, only the ones that are on this SITE.
They have adult sizes from 5-13.

Mrs. Cubbison’s Product Review / Win a Kitchen Makeover

I'm lucky to have kids that love to eat their salad. I've been giving them salad since they were old enough to eat solid food. Then I introduced them to croutons :-) and not just plain old boring no taste croutons. I added Mrs. Cubbison’s Butter & Garlic croutons. Hmm-um I could eat these by the handful.

Mrs. Cubbison’s have varieties of products. You can check that out HERE. Normally I would be getting a direct product from the company but I actually liked how I received coupons for their product. At least I get to pick which ones to get and I love that. I bought the 2 Butter & Garlic croutons and the kids wanted to try Tortilla Strips. Perfect for our Taco dinner.

The kids loved the Tortilla strips so much that they took them to school for snacks. LOL! So they don't last very long in our home. They eat them all the time.

Want to know where you can get your own bag of Mrs. Cubbison's? See if you have them in your town HERE.

They also have tons of RECIPES on their site.
Right now they are running a Kitchen Makeover so head on over there and enter to win. Click on the photo below to get to the direct link to enter or click HERE.

Canvas Press Review 16 x 20 x 1.5

I finally have something to hang on our empty wall. It has been empty for the longest time because we had this awful looking TV stand in front of it and it covered the whole wall. There was really no point of hanging anything on the wall since you wouldn't be able to see it anyway. And now I do. This beautiful Canvas Print from Canvas Press.

I saw their link from another blogger and I really admired the print so much that I didn't hesitate to contact them. They agreed to send me a beautiful Canvas in exchange for a fair review.

I was super excited when I received the package within 5 days of putting the order in. It came in a big sturdy box and it was wrapped beautifully in a thick plastic inside and safe from the element. The great part too was that it came ready to be hang on the wall. You can pretty much take it out of the box and right straight to your wall.

They sent me a 16 x 20 x 1.5 and it was the perfect size for the wall. Which is by the way now open since I moved the furniture around. YEY! The canvas is sturdy and well made. Thick and just perfect.
The one I received is IMAGE WRAP, but they have 2 other options.

Mirror Wrap
When important parts of your photo will be wrapped around the edges then the Mirror Wrap option may be your best bet. We will select the edges of your photo and flip them onto the sides to give you that image wrap look without compromising any important elements on the front of your canvas print.

Color Wrap
The photo stays put on the front of the canvas and you can choose a color to compliment the image and that will be printed on the sides of your canvas print. This is great way to infuse a little pop of color or simulate a frame around your canvas photo.

They do other stuff at Canvas Press too.

Do you want to have your own Canvas print? They have tons of sizes you can choose from here.

Newman's Own Organics Review and Giveaway - ENDED

Newman's Own Organics or NOO products are pretty good. I received all these full size items and have then shared and serve to our friends and mostly families when they come over. Most of them were eaten by my own family. We all had our own favorites, but I will get to that in a bit. I would like to talk about NOO first.

Newman's Own Organics was established as a division of Newman's Own in 1993, and became a separate company in late 2001. The sale of Newman's Own Organics products generates money for the Newman's Own Foundation to give away. Since 1982 Paul Newman and the Newman's Own Foundation have donated more than $350 million dollars to educational and charitable organizations worldwide.

Certified organic by Oregon Tilth. Ingredients have been grown on farms that have not used artificial fertilizers or pesticides for three years or more. The farms and processors have been certified by an independent third party. Kosher certification by Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America, 333 Seventh Avenue, New York.

The front of each product features an American Gothic "Pa" Newman and daughter Nell in appropriate costume with an accompanying legend on the package; each variety has a color band or colored packaging for easy identification.

Ok, now that you know a little about NOO we can talk some more about what we liked and what we loved.  The mints were my cousins faves. I love mints but I'm more of a gum person. I tried and it was actually pretty good.

These chocolate bars were mine. I didn't even share them with anyone. LOL! YUM!

Anything sour goes to my kids. They loved the licorice, they are definitely kids approved. Although they said they need to be more sour, but they ate it and enjoyed it. I kept the mango. I love anything mango :-)

My husband and his dad shares the chocolate cups. YUP! All 3 and they didn't even share. From the smile on their faces you could tell they wanted some more and I wasn't about to share any of my bars.

I haven't opened the fig, but the Newman-O's is all gone. This is one of my husbands favorite and he even told me to get some more from the store. Actually more like "Please email NOO and tell them to send me some more of those" LOL!

These 2 are also gone, and yup! You guessed it, my husband ate these too. He loved them. he should start his own review blog. LOL!

The ginger snap is another one of his fave. He likes to eat them at night with his milk, hahaha! Alphabet cookies are a hit with the kids. Those are tiny enough for one bite and I love that. I also love the fact that it's chocolate.

The prunes hasn't been opened either. The popcorn on the other hand has been gone the first week. We love popcorn in this house and they don't last long here.

GONE, GONE, GONE. Yes, they were all good.

So if you're interested to get your own NOO you can go HERE to find where they are in your area.

KQC X-Heat Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron Review

Hey Guys!!! Let's talk about hair. Most of my life I've worn my hair long. Although I have tried, short, super short, medium, wavy, curly, straightened, colored and pretty much anything you can imagine, my hair has seen it all. Well, I can't say all since I've never shaved my head.

I've heard a bunch of comments from people about my hair. I love your hair long and straight or I love it curly. You know where I'm getting at.

So a few weeks ago, Flat Iron Experts were kind enough to send me a KQC X-Heat Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron, Thermal Shine Spray and the Iron Stand to review and I was super excited since I'm in need of a new hair straightener.

Tried it and LOVED it! I love straightening my hair when I get a chance. I don't blow dry my hair, unless it's absolutely necessary. I let it air dry so it naturally curls or does the wave when I let it be.

You can see (a few photos below) what my hair looks like when I let it air dry. I don't remember my hair being so wavy like that growing up. I've always had stick straight hair and for some reason the older I get the curlier my hair gets. LOL! Thanks goodness for KQC X-Heat Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron or I would have crazy hair all the time or up in a bun.

What I love about the KQC X-Heat Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron is the heat setting goes from 140 all the way 410. So if you have super fine thin hair you use the lowest setting and for the coarse hair you use the higher setting. I had mine set at 250 - 280 (normal - medium hair).

Now, the spray. I sprayed each section of my hair before running the iron. It made it super shiny, soft, smooth and I love the smell. (just make sure if you have a linoleum floor or hardwood to be careful because it will make your floor slippery, so lay out some towels or spray over a sink).

You can get your own Thermal Shine HERE.

The Flat Iron holder is also a great investment to hold your iron in. Not to worry about burning your table or where you place your iron. Flat Iron holder is available HERE

Love the suctions on the bottom of the Iron Holder. It keeps it from falling and getting yourself hurt or burn.

Yup! My hair is that wavy messy when I let it air dry, lol.  I love it, don't get me wrong, but sometimes I love my hair straight too.

I did one side so you can see the difference between the 2. See how shiny it is? Love it!

A close up shot on how shiny and straight my hair is.

All done and ready to go out and party, with my kids in the living room. LOL!
